Visibility down 87%. Nobody knew why. Now we do.

Kiboko Tours & Travel sells private safaris across East Africa. Enquiries were drying up. We looked at everything at once, found the reasons, and fixed the first batch the same week.

The problem

Kiboko had a good website and real customers. But fewer people were finding it every month, and no one could say why.

What we found

  • Google was looking at the wrong pages. Broken settings meant Google knew 0 of the 44 safari package pages.
  • The site had been hacked twice. Once in 2025, and again in April 2026 when spam took over 3 pages.
  • The homepage weighed 5 MB. Slow on phones, especially on safari-country data.
  • 68 real enquiries, all still marked “new”. Nobody could tell which became bookings.

What we did

  • Fixed the settings that point Google to the right pages
  • Wrote proper titles for 121 safari packages and every blog post
  • Closed the security holes the hackers used
  • Rebuilt the sitemap so Google can find every package
  • Added tracking for every enquiry form and WhatsApp tap
  • Showed package prices next to a WhatsApp button
Honest status: Google takes weeks to trust a site again. The recovery numbers are coming in now, and we report them every month.
